US billionaire Warren Buffett has appeared singing and playing the ukulele on Chinese state television. The billionaire popped up on CCTV and wished the people of China “a happy new year.” The Lunar New Year of the Dragon begins at midnight on Sunday. “Your country has accomplished amazing things, and the best is yet to come,” Buffett told the broadcaster. Value is driven by scarcity. If money was just distributed to everyone, regardless of their effort in attaining it, money would lose? its value. Work, too, would lose its value, because why work when a paycheck comes either way?
@sralmy Needless to say, a society where money has no value and with no incentive to work would collapse into impoverished anarchy. The reason why living standards are so much higher today than in the past is because people worked hard, be it intellectually or physically, and they worked? hard to attain wealth. Without the wealth incentive, there is no progress to be made, except in recreational pursuits like the arts.
We used to sing? this in 6th grade with my teacher playing the piano (the long version). Then she would read Little House on the Prairie to us. We were so lucky.

Warren Buffet owns Burlington Northern and Santa Fe? railroad. That is the same railroad that is hauling the oil from Canada that the Keystone Pipeline was supposed to. Kind of ironic eh? This is him laughing all of the way to the bank on our backs.
Mr. Buffet has been a lifelong model rail buff and the layout pictured is in his attic? in Omaha. He still lives in the modest house he bought over 40 years ago. He also plays with real trains as a major stockholder in the BNSF railway. He may not make American Idol but the Chinese love him!!
